Four exceptional rosewood Bramin dining chairs and two Uldum Møbelfabrik armchairs. All in good vintage condition.

Bramin was originally founded as N.A. Jørgensen Møbelfabrik in Bramming, Denmark, the company rebranded as Bramin Møbler in the late 1950s. During the 1960s, Bramin Møbler pivoted from the traditional Scandinavian style it had been known for as N.A. Jørgensen Møbelfabrik and steered toward the emerging Scandinavian modern style. It prioritized quality, form and function by fashioning its varied pieces from strong woods like mahogany, teak and rosewood, and by using wool and leather to upholster its seating, Bramin Møbler ensured that the superb quality of its work would last the test of time. Throughout the company’s operation, Bramin Møbler collaborated with many highly regarded modern furniture makers, including greats like Johannes Andersen, Hans Olsen, Kurt Østervig and Frank Reenskaug.

Uldum Møbelfabrik is an Uldum-based Danish furniture manufacturer, also well-known for working with leading Scandinavian designers to produce high-quality dining tables and chairs. The armchairs in this listing are thought to be designed by Johannes Andersen, whose functional but graceful designs take inspiration from organic shapes and flowing lines.

The dimensions are:
Chairs - 48 x 76 x 49cm
Armchairs - 56.5 x 83 x 52cm

Pending A10 certificate

As we specialise in bespoke, one-off pieces, at Modern Antics, not one of our item’s shares the same dimensions as another. This makes it impossible for us to standardise our shipping rates, but is also another reason why every of our items is so special.

Additionally, as a small business, the length of time it would take us to calculate the cost of shipping every item, to every country, let alone every city in the world, would mean we wouldn’t have any time to provide our customers with the items we work so hard to make available to you.

Large items, such as tables or sideboards, that cannot be sent using a standard shipping service, require a bespoke crate, which is essential to keep them safe and to be fully insured by our freight couriers. For more information on these crates, please get in touch.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us, with any questions or queries you might have. We love to chat to any potential customers or anyone looking for some advice, on interior design, furniture or anything in between.

Yours sincerely,
Elizabeth
