The Antics Behind Modern Antics

Modern Antics is run by Elizabeth, and is based in Essex in a beautiful family farmhouse which is full of vintage and antique finds. Its garden was featured in the book “My Kind of Garden” by David Hicks and have spent the past 5 years bringing it back to life.

Modern Antics specialises mainly in 20^th century design, but we also have a mix of all periods. 

We take great pride in personally restoring all of our pieces meticulously - out of respect for the previous owners, the craftsmen who created them and the earth’s resources used in their construction.
